We have started our Field Day Spirit Wear sale that will run through March 5th, Field Day is April 13th. Delivery will be before Spring Break. We will be offering tee shirts in rainbow spiral, lime green, and Carolina blue with this design –
We will also have shorts for sale in black that have Signal Hill and a paw print on the left leg. Check your child’s backpack for order forms!

The Dinner, Dance and Auction was a great success! Thank you for all our wonderful volunteers and custodians. We got off to a smooth start thanks to our set up crew. We were able to keep things running smooth with our reliable replacement volunteers. Our admission and bid tables were also staff by a stellar crew.
Special thanks goes to Yorkshire Restaurant who catered the meal. The food was wonderful. We had around 150 dinners and another 150 that came to the dance. In total the Dinner and Dance profited $300.
Thank you to Jill Clauss for organizing the Class Basket Auction, AGAIN! She did a great job preparing, organizing and running the show. Thank you to our generous families for all their donations for the baskets. Overall, we profited $2400!
Again, I can't thank everyone enough for all their help!

Come out and share a special night on Friday February 10th with friends and classmates and let Yorkshire Restaurant do the cooking! Afterwards, enjoy the dance party with the professional DJ and bid on the fantastic baskets the classes have assembled. The dinner is from 6-7PM and the dance runs from 7-9PM. The silent auction runs from 6-8:30. Admission to attend the dance only will be sold at the door for $2.

Don't forget to send in your Schwan's pre-order forms or to place your order online at www.schwansfundraising.com. Click on “Place An Online Order” and enter our campaign code 37887. The truck sale will be held outside the front of the school. Your pre-order will ensure that the items you want are reserved for you the morning of the sale. You can also just drive up and shop out of the truck. Payment is made directly to Schwan's on Saturday, February 4th. This fundraiser works like a Spirit Night and Signal Hill receives a portion of the sales. Stock up on Super Bowl favorites. If you need the pre-order form you can find it on the Forms page. |

We are holding our first event of the year at Chuck E Cheese this Thursday, January 5th from 3-9. Our school receives 15% of all sales all you need to do is tell the cashier you are with Signal Hill. In addition, each child will come home with a sticker worth 10 tokens; don’t forget to bring it with you! |

Parents, this is a reminder about our Annual Holiday Shop for kids on Thursday, December 1st from 6-8pm! It is a fun opportunity for your kids to shop for holiday gifts for family and friends! Elves will be available to help them with their selections, especially if you are the person they want to shop for!
While the kids are shopping at the Holiday Shop in the Cafeteria, parents and staff will get to do their own shopping at our FIRST TIME EVER Holiday Vendor Show, which will also be taking place from 6-8pm! Our vendors will be down the hallways on either side of the library and include vendors such as Lia Sophia Jewelry, Discovery Toys, Tastefully Simple, Thirty-One Bags, Dove Chocolates, Willow House, Pampered Chef, and many more! So grab your shopping lists and come on in and do some holiday shopping! Happy happy holidays everyone! Don’t forget to check out the Panda Gear and Bake Sale going on during the evening’s shopping activities! |

Please help us bring a Happy Thanksgiving to our community's neediest families. Your donations and support help provide Thanksgiving meals to over 1,100 families in our community.
The following items will be collected at Signal Hill from November 1 to November 14: stuffing, canned fruit, gravy, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, cornbread/muffin mix, canned pumpkin, potatoes, Bisquick, rice, soups, pasta and sauces, coffee/tea/cocoa, boxed desserts, applesauce, PB & J, sugar, jello and pudding.
We are also collecting Xerox copy-sized boxes with lids. Any boxes with lids can be brought to Mrs. Riley’s office, and they will be used to pack items for Operation Turkey.
If you would like to help in another way, you can:

Mark your calendars for the annual Fall Festival on October 28th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Dress up and stroll through the halls of Signal Hill in a safe and weather-proof trick o' treat environment. Visit the pumpkin patch, stop in on the mad scientist, and watch out for space aliens. Fun, crafts and light refreshments are sure to please the whole family as this event is designed for preschool and elementary children. The cost is $1 per child at the door. Parking overflow will be directed to shuttle bus service.
